What and who are the Pearls of Wisdom?

In today’s climate, the strains of a work-life balance have become increasing difficult; and while
balancing career and family is not a new challenge, in recent years, institutions have recognized
that offering assistance helps create a well rounded executives. With this, Pearls of Wisdom
embarked on a journey to partner with other executives and share experiences. It started as a
simple idea to bring executive women together in fellowship. Our mission is to locate and bring
the women in the mortgage banking industry together and involve them in networking, education
and discussion of issues particular to all of us in like environments.

In 2004, the inaugural retreat took place and “Fall in Philadelphia, a Woman's Health &
Wellness Symposium", featuring guest speakers from the National Association of Professional
Women in Mortgage Banking and Spirit Communication, was introduced. Each of the special
guests addressed the attendees regarding the benefit they have been able to provide to business
women and the importance of stress reduction in the workplace. Adding to the guest speakers,
some of the special guests of the event shared a life lesson that offered inspiration and provided
insight to the challenges many women face that fuel so many of us in our personal life and
business and allow us to persevere. With this, these motivating stories and lessons learned were
dubbed the “Pearls of Wisdom”.

Following the success of the inaugural event, the program was expanded and additional sponsors
were invited into the exclusive group. We have assembled an amazing group of women to
facilitate your journey, all of whom share the core belief that growth is a dynamic, interactive
processes! As the events have been unveiled, we have launched programs to assist executives
and their staff with “work life balance”, along with personal and professional growth.
Pearls of Wisdom provides you and your staff with the perfect combination of support, guidance,
and skills; all designed to assist you in creating an enriching experience. Each of the retreats
selects a local charity as a benefactor to the group’s donations for raffle items. We welcome you
to join us on a special journey of self-discovery, and growth; and a journey that also has the
capacity to give back.
